A scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee on the topic "Nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and law enforcement agencies" with the participation of higher educational institutions for special purposes. The management of the Customs Academy, as well as the employees and students of the Academy, the Academy of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan named after Heydar Aliyev, Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, National Aviation Academy, Azerbaijan State Marine Academy, Higher Military School of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev participated in the conference.

The event began with the performance of the national anthem of Azerbaijan and a minute's silence in memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our republic.

The head of the Academy, customs service major general Gulu Novruzov delivered the opening speech at the conference and spoke about the importance of the scientific event held in order to promote the heritage of Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev among the young generation. The head of the academy wished success to the work of the conference, noting that the memory of the Great Leader will live forever in the hearts of our people as long as exists an independent Azerbaijan.  

Welcoming the participants of the conference, the Deputy Head of the Academy for Scientific Affairs, prof. Jamila Namazova evaluated the conference held on the occasion of 100th anniversary of Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev as a manifestation of the effective cooperative relationships created among special purposes higher educational institutions and wished success to the work of the conference dedicated to various historical periods of the multifaceted activity of the eternal leader.

Speaking at the conference, the Head of the Chair of Socio-Political Sciences of the Academy of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan named after Heydar Aliyev, Associate Professor, Ph. D in Economics Mushfiq Ramazanov and the teacher of the criminal procedure chair of the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the major of police Rafik Guliyev also talked about the work done by the Nationwide leader in the direction of comprehensive development of Azerbaijan, especially noted his role in the formation of law enforcement agencies.

Then the presentation on the activities of the Academy was deomonstrated at the event.

Conference participants made reports and presentations on such topics as "The exceptional role of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in the formation of modern customs service”, “Heydar Aliyev and legal reforms", "Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev and the National Security Policy of Azerbaijan", "Heydar Aliyev - the road leading to historical victory”, etc.

In the end, a video dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev was demonsrated.
