The "Ejder Drones" team, consisting of young people from Azerbaijan and Turkiye, including a fourth-year ASCCA student Orkhan Jabbarzade, majoring in ‘Information security’ has been awarded the third place in the "Disaster Management" category at the "TEKNOFEST-2023" Aviation, Space and Technology Festival held in Turkiye.

The project initiated by Orkhan Jabbarzade with his teammates from fraternal Turkiye is aimed at rescuing people and animals safely and quickly in disasters such as earthquakes, fires and floods.

The UAV, developed by the team, ensures the transfer of the coordinates of humans and other living things identified as a result of search and scanning activities to the relevant institutions and individuals, as well as supports them in meeting their needs until assistance and announces the arrival of a rescue team.

At the same time, the UAV carries out activities to prevent more serious casualties during disasters, such as fires, floods, and so on.
