The fourth year students of the Academy of the State Customs Committee successfully continue their 14-week production internship in  state and private institutions, including various customs bodies.

A scientific-practical seminar was held in the Operation- Investigation Department of the State Customs Committee (SCC) to encourage  students to acquire practical knowledge and inform them about the activities of the customs system within the framework of the internship.

The executives and employees of Academy of the State Customs Committee and Operation- Investigation  Department of the SCC, and the Legal Provision Department , as well as the fourth year students of the Academy, attended the seminar. The seminar was jointly organized by the Operation- Investigation Department and the Department of Legal Provision of the SSC.

Making an opening speech, the Deputy Head of the Academy, Jamila Namazova, spoke about the importance of the seminar and the practical knowledge that the students will acquire during the internship and emphasized the importance of holding such meetings during this period. Professor Namazova spoke about the role of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the improvement of the customs system and talked about the role of the Operation and Investigation General Department as a law enforcement body in the activity of the SCC.

Greeting the participants of the event, First Deputy Head of the Operation- Investigation Department of the SCC, Major General of the Customs Service Guloglan Muradli  spoke about the recent reforms in the customs system, and noted the importance of studying  the customs activities in all aspects and wished the Academy students success during the internship.

The Deputy Head of the Operation-Investigation Department Vugar Abdullayev and Head of the Department of International Law of the Legal Provision Department , Magsud Safarov, gave information about the duties of the customs authorities in the field of law enforcement activities, the working principles of the offices they represent, and gave their recommendations to the students in order to acquire practical knowledge in the field of customs.

Later, the questions of the students were answered.

It should be noted that during the production internship, a number of events are planned to be held continuously in terms of educating students.
