ASCCA, Karmasis Azerbaijan sign MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Academy of the State Customs Committee and Karmasis Azerbaijan CJSC. The meeting was attended by the head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, the major-general of the customs service Gulu Novruzov, the general manager of Karmasis Azerbaijan Berna Baysal and the Academy staff. 

 

The head of the Academy, Gulu Novruzov, spoke about the sincere friendship and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye and emphasized the importance of cooperation in education. Speaking about the prospects of bilateral cooperation, G. Novruzov addressed issues of interest of students, including the internship programs for students, the involvement of highly qualified IT specialists in the teaching activities of the Academy and other issues of interest. The head of the academy expressed his confidence that the memorandum to be signed with Karmasis Azerbaijan, one of Turkiye's leading IT companies, will further develop cooperation. At the meeting, Berna Baysal expressed pride in the partnership with Karmasis, which is developing in the field of cybersecurity, and stressed that the partnership would contribute to the work of ASCCA. B.Baysal confidently noted that cooperation in areas of mutual interest would be productive for both sides.

 

Following the discussions, Gulu Novruzov, head of the Academy of Public Administration, and Berna Baysal, the general manager of Karmasis Azerbaijan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation.

 

According to the memorandum, mutual organization of training and teaching between the parties, provision of joint activities in the direction of meeting future personnel needs, as well as providing support for developing students' knowledge, skills, and expertise, and other issues were envisaged.Q
