Management and the students of the Customs Academy participated in the event dedicated to the memory of the martyr of the Patriotic War

The presentation of the documentary film titled "The Wolf's Dream" dedicated to the memory of one of our heroic sons, lieutenant colonel of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces Guliyev Rashad Rashid oglu, who rose to the peak of martyrdom in the 44-day Patriotic War was held within the framework of the "Eternal Martyrs" project. Besides the  family members and relatives of the martyr, representatives of various state institutions, and other participants, the head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, major-general of the customs service Gulu Novruzov, and a group of employees and students of the Academy participated in the event organized by the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the  "Central Coordination Units for Appeals of Families of Martyrs, War-Induced Military Servicemen, and Persons with Disabilities," which was held at the special education school No. 3. The participants of the event spoke and prayed for mercy to all our martyrs in the example of Rashad Guliyev, who died showing bravery and heroism in acieveing the victory of historic importance.

The head of the Academy, Gulu Novruzov spoke at the ceremony and noted that our martyrs deserve eternal respect, thanked the martyr's mother, Matanat Guliyeva, for raising a worthy son for our country, and wished God grant mercy to the family members of the martyr. The head of the Academy talked about the historic victory won by the mighty Azerbaijani Army within the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev and especially stated that today we are proud of our heroic sons like Rashad, who had contributed to that victory. G. Novruzov also specially emphasized that the Academy always pays great attention to the families of martyrs and wounded veterans of the Patriotic War and the attention and care shown to them will be continued in the future.

Then, a poem dedicated to the heroes of the motherland was performed by the student of the Academy.

At the end of the event, in order to perpetuate and popularize the memory of the martyr, the documentary film titled "Wolf's Dream" was shown, which tells about his honorable life and batlle route.
