“VII International Scientific Conference of Young Researchers” jointly organized by ASCCA and BEU starts

“VII International Scientific Conference of Young Researchers”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and jointly organized by the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) and Baku Engineering University (BEU) has started. The conference was attended by executives, staff, and students of ASCCA and BEU, as well as representatives of other state institutions and higher education institutions and young researchers.

First, the memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland was commemorated with a minute of silence, and then the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

The conference aimed at bringing young researchers together and increasing the interest of young people in science. In his opening speech, the vice-rector of scientific affairs of BEU, associate professor Elchin Suleymanov noted that the international event, which is traditionally organized every year, this year coincides with a significant date - the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, and in this regard, it is of double importance for young researchers. The vice-rector emphasized that the National leader, who paid great attention and care to the field of science and education, has mobilized all his opportunities to educate the youth of Azerbaijan in the national, patriotic spirit, as well-educated personnel with a rich outlook. Speaking about the articles presented at the conference, the vice-rector noted that this process was carried out on the "Conference Electronic Management System", and besides our country, the conference included articles from Turkiye, Russia, The USA, Hungary, Italy, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and about 10 other countries.

Deputy Head of the Academy of State Customs Committee for Scientific Affairs, prof. Jamila Namazova greeted the participants of the conference on behalf of the head of the Academy, customs service major-general Gulu Novruzov, and assessed the conference held on the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev as a reflection of effective cooperation between the two higher education institutions.  In her speech, J. Namazova spoke about the role of the Great Leader in the formation of the youth of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev's economic policy aimed at the modernization of the customs system, and the importance of increasing the interest of young people in science. Emphasizing that the logical outcome of the state and army building, founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, was manifested in the Patriotic War, the deputy head wished success to the work of the conference, noting that the memory of the Great Leader will live forever in the hearts of our people as long as there is an independent Azerbaijan.

Elnur Hasanov, an employee of the Ganja Branch of ANAS, and a Presidential Award winner in science delivered a speech about the opportunities created for the young and the support given to them in the direction of developing science.

Babak Abbasov, head of the Department of Information Technologies and Technical Sciences of ASCCA also spoke at the event and said that the conference dedicated to young researchers was fundamentally different from other conferences and that it encompassed more massive scientific fields. He expressed his deep gratitude to everyone who contributed to the organization of the conference and wished success to the work of the conference.

Along with other speakers, Mehriban Yadulla, a teacher of ASCCA, and associate professor of the "Economics" department of BSU, delivered a report on "Reviews on the isolation of evasion of indirect taxes levied at the customs border’’

Later, the speakers of the plenary session were awarded certificates.

It should be noted that lectures will be heard in 25 different sections on the main directions at the two-day conference.
