ASCCA holds a seminar on Auditing

   Academy of the State Customs Committee hosted a seminar on "Ensuring transparency in the activities of business entities and the role of audit in anti-corruption."  The seminar was attended by the employees and students of the Academy and it was presented by Vugar Ibrahimli, Deputy Head of the Department of Customs Risk Management and Audit General Department of the State Customs Committee, and Ahdiyar Aghayev, Chief Inspector of the Audit Department of Customs Authorities.

Welcoming the participants of the event, the deputy head of the Academy, Jamila Namazova, talked about the importance of the event in the fight against corruption and gave a brief look at the history of the audit.

The seminar participants were informed about the stages of audit, the concept of corruption, the role of audit in the fight against corruption, statistical data of internal audit conducted in customs bodies, future goals, etc.

At the end, the trainers answered  participants’ questions.
