Students at Parliamentary Simulation
"Staged parliamentary debate" simulation was held under the organization and leadership of Mayis Aliyev, professor of the Department of Labor and Environmental Law of Baku State University. The parliamentary simulation was staged by the law students of Baku State University. The event was attended by the academic staff of the university, the management of the Faculty of Law and “SABAH” Center , as well as Members of Milli Majlis , lawyers, advocates , directors and students of a number of higher education institutions.
Hakim Azizov, head of the Department of Law and Humanities of Academy of State Customs Committee and a group of students of law faculty attended the simulation .The students discussed the draft Law "On Social Security" of the Republic of Azerbaijan by using the method of role-playing. The importance of applying the role-playing method in the legal education process was widely discussed, and the members of parliament and participants shared their opinions .
Professor Mayis Aliyev spoke about the importance of the event, which was organized to form the culture of conducting parliamentary debates, as well as legal thinking and culture, and ability to conduct analysis.
At the end, a letter of appreciation was presented to the students who played the relevant roles and participated in the organization of the event.
