ASCCA hosts a tournament dedicated to “ Year of Shusha”
Academy of the State Customs Committee hosted a chess tournament within the framework of "Year of Shusha". The tournament was organized by Students Youth Organization. Students studying various majors at the academy participated in the competition .
The tournament was held according to the Swiss system and consisted of 7 rounds.
The competition was held among 24 students in total, and based on the results , the first-year student of the academy majoring in International Trade and Logistics, Ramil Jafarov was awarded the first place, and the fourth-year students majoring in Information Security, Ilgar Abbasov and Mushfig Naghiyev were awarded the second and third places.
At the end, the winners of the chess tournament were awarded with trophies and certificates.
Speaking at the awarding ceremony, the deputy head of the Academy, Jamila Namazova, spoke about the importance of competition dedicated to the “Year of Shusha” . She mentioned that the aim of the tournament was to promote the game of chess, which is an intellectual sport, reveal chess players, and at the same time effectively organize students' free time. Namazova advised students to pay more attention to science, education, research skills, and increase their outlook, congratulated the winners of the competition and wished them success.
