ASCCA is represented in France within Erasmus+ ECAR project
The Academy of the State Customs Committee was represented in the training program held in the French Republic on October 03-07, 2022 within the framework of the Erasmus+ project called "Establishment of the Rector’s Conference in Azerbaijan " (ECAR).
The first meeting was held at the France Education International ("France Education International", FEI), and attended by the Deputy Head for Teaching and Innovations of the academy, Araz Aslanli, Deputy Head for Scientific Affairs of the academy , Jamila Namazova, as well as the rectors of the Azerbaijani universities that are members of the project consortium, the advisor to the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan , vice-rectors and other authorized university representatives. The purpose of the training was to study European experience in the field of organizing committees for establishing the Conference of Rectors in Azerbaijan.
On the first day of the event, the coordinator of international relations of FEI and former president of the University of Rouen Jean-Luc Nahel made an introductory speech, welcomed all the guests and expressed his pleasure to see them in France. Bruno Kurval, deputy director of the department of educational cooperation, emphasized that the close cooperation within the framework of the project continues successfully and that the training program would be useful.
Later, David Alis, President of the University of Rennes made an extensive presentation in an online format on the topic "The role and activity of committees in Rector's conferences". He touched upon the importance of the relevant committees operating within the conference and shared his experience on their activities, organizational structure, and functions. Following the speeches, there was a useful discussion and exchange of ideas between the participants.
ECAR project of the Erasmus + program of the European Union in the field of "Capacity Building in Higher Education" is implemented under the coordination of Baku Business University and with the financial support of the European Commission.
The implementation period of the project is three years.
The partnership of the Academy of the State Customs Committee in the project was evaluated and accepted by the project consortium and the European Commission in 2021, and the Academy's participation in the project began in April 2022.
