A debate tournament, 'National interests and solidarity', dedicated to the day of restoration of independence of Azerbaijan, was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee under the organization of the Debate Club operating under the Student Youth Organization.

A total of 10 registered teams participated in the tournament, and debaters discussed questions concerning the topics by presenting interesting facts and arguments.

In the final stage, the "Customs Crown" team in the affirmative position and the "Detroit" team in the negative position competed for the trophy. At the end of the fiercely competitive contest, the "Customs Crown" won the internal tournament, and winners were presented the Cup, medals and certificates.
