ASCCA hosted a meeting with the officials of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On June 1, a meeting was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee with the visiting delegation of the Customs Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Customs service Colonel-General Safar Mehdiyev, Head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, Major General Gulu Novruzov, employees of the Committee and Academy, the delegation led by the Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan Akmalkhuja Mavlonov. 

The head of the academy, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov greeted the guests and expressed his pleasure to meet them at the educational institution. The head of the academy informed the guests about the establishment of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, the educational process, and its activities in the field of international cooperation, and stressed the importance of cooperation in the field of education. In his speech, Gulu Novruzov emphasized the reforms implemented in recent years with the support of the Chairman of the State Customs Committee Safar Mehdiyev through the application of innovative and efficient technologies in the educational process of the Academy.

Expressing satisfaction with his visit to the Academy of the State Customs Committee, Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General of the Customs Service Akmalkhuja Mavlonov spoke about the sincere friend and fraternal relations between the two countries. Speaking about the future prospects of cooperation in areas of mutual interest, he expressed confidence that the meeting will contribute to the development of a mutual exchange of experiences.

Then, Leyla Najafova, the international cooperation specialist, made a presentation on the activities, achievements, and priorities of ASCCA in the field of international cooperation, as well as relations and projects with foreign higher education and customs training institutions and other international organizations. 

At the end of the meeting, mutual symbolic gifts were presented.

Afterwards, guests familiarized themselves with the conditions created for the students of the Academy and customs officers participating in in-service training courses, as well as the newly established language lab, classrooms equipped with modern technical controls, and the teaching process.
