ASCCA students participate in the artistic competition-festival dedicated to the 99th anniversary of national leader Haydar Aliyev

The final concert of the artistic competition-festival dedicated to the 99th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Heydar Aliyev Palace on May 6. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Educators of Azerbaijan and was attended by Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Educators of Azerbaijan, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev, cultural figures, heads and students of higher education institutions, as well as leadership, staff, and students of the Academy of the State Customs Committee.

 

Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation Sattar Mohbaliyev delivered an introductory speech at the competition-festival organized to raise students in the spirit of national patriotism, raise their artistic-aesthetic level, and identify talented young people in various types of art. He spoke about the exceptional role in the development of youth and the work done to build our independent state. Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov noted that as a result of national leader Heydar Aliyev's attention and care for education and youth in Azerbaijan, young people studying abroad hold high positions in government agencies. He stressed that thanks to our youth, loyal to the ideas of the national leader, our lands, which have been occupied for almost 30 years, have been liberated. At the end of his speech, the Deputy Minister wished the students success in their education and future work, and once again congratulated all participants.

 

          Later, along with students from other universities, students of the Academy of State Customs Committee demonstrated their skills in various genres of art. Poems, dances, and music performed by students at the festival, which was attended by 28 higher education institutions across the country, were met with great interest by the audience.
