Seminar on the topic " Building new economy and potential opportunities in Karabagh" was held at the ASCCA
The seminar on the topic " Building new economy and potential opportunities in Karabagh" was held at the Academy of State Customs Committee on April 13. The seminar, held with the participation of top management, academic staff and the students of the Academy, was presented by the Head of the Scientific Centre for Restoration of Post-conflict Territories, corresponding member of ANAS, Doctor of Economics, professor Akif Musayev.
Opening the event with the introductory speech, the head of the Academy, Major- general of the Customs Service, Gulu Novruzov greeted the participants of the event and talked about the importance of the seminar and the exceptional services of valuable scientist Akif Musayev in economic development of our country and the training of young scientists. The head of the Academy also especially emphasized close participation of the professor Akif Musayev in the activities of the Coordination Headquarters that had been established for centralized resolution of the problems on the territories that had been liberated from the occupation within the 44-day Patriotic War.
Then, the professor Akif Musayev attended the event as the speaker, spoke in details about the reconstruction of post-conflict territories, potential opportunities, dynamics of global information traffic. He also addressed the importance of ensuring complete integration of liberated territories into great future of Azerbaijan and the work being done to achieve the goals of sustainable settlement and reintegration into economic activity for successful implementation of this priority. Akif Musayev emphasized that formation of the business environment, promotion of economic activities and establishment of the principles of market economy were significant factors in the process of economic reconstruction in Karabagh. The speaker expressed that he was sure that Karabagh, which had great resources and potential, should be revived, also the economy and social life of the region should be reconstructed at the most modern level.
