The seminar on “New trends in researches and their publication” was held at the Academy of State Customs Committee on April 12. The seminar, held with the participation of academic-teaching staff and the students of the Academy, was presented by the Head of UNEC "SABAH" Centre, the author of many scientific works indexed in the basis of such reputable databases such as “Web of Science” and “Scopus”, the Candidate of Sciences in Economics, Associate Professor Aida Guliyeva.

The seminar provided detailed information about methods of scientific researches, their planning, implementation, the strategy for information search, the evaluation of results, as well as the important issues in conducting scientific research. In her speech, she shared with the participants of the event her views on the plagiarism, also talked about the impact factor of scientific journals, the possibility of effective use of Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases.

At the end, the students got detailed answers to their questions related to the topic.
