An excursion of students of the Academy of the State Customs Committee to the Cynological center of the State Customs Committee was organized in groups. During the excursion organized to increase students' practical knowledge on organization of cynological activity, as well as implementation of customs control, the participants became closely acquainted with the daily work process and activity of the Center.

Within the framework of the visit, the students were provided with detailed information about the establishment and activity of the Cynological Center, as well as the organization of cynological service at customs checkpoints. During the excursion the students obtained interesting information by getting acquainted with the veterinary clinic equipped with modern facilities, intensive care rooms, training grounds, cynological classes, as well as the museum operating within the center.

Then the skills of dogs for service search on detection of drugs and other prohibited substances were practically demonstrated to the excursion participants on the training ground of the Center.

At the end, the questions interested students were answered in details by the specialists.
