On the occasion of Novruz holiday, the "Spring is coming to our country, Novruz is coming with victory" event was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee. The event was attended by executives, staff, and students. First the head of the Academy, Gulu Novruzov got acquainted with the holiday tables decorated with Novruz attributes demonstrated by the students.

At the beginning of the event, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed by the woodwind orchestra of students of the Academy, and the memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Speaking at the event, the head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, Major-General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov, made a congratulatory speech at the event and highlighted the historical and cultural significance of Novruz holiday to Azerbaijani people. Gulu Novruzov also stressed the great moral significance of celebrating Novruz in Karabakh, which was liberated from Armenian occupation as a result of the Victory in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of victorious Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev. He also spoke about the importance of educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and expressed confidence that they will fulfill their responsibilities to preserve our national and moral values.

At the end of his speech, the head of the Customs Academy, on behalf of the leadership of the State Customs Committee and his behalf, congratulated the event attendees on the Novruz holiday, which is as ancient and important to our people as history, and conveyed his best wishes to them.
