ASCCA Team Named Runner-Up at Green Chemistry Hackathon
A Green Chemistry Hackathon was held at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), organized by the UFAZ Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center and the UFAZ Chemical Engineering Club. The competition aimed to address real-world issues related to green chemistry and promote the development of innovative solutions for a more sustainable future.
On the first day of the event, teams were assigned specific problems through a drawing. The teams that presented the most effective solutions the following day were declared winners. The "BitbyBit" team, representing the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA), included Mirmahamməd Mansimov, a sophomore student majoring in Information Technology, and secured second place in the competition. Their project focused on generating green energy through the regeneration of piezoelectric materials used in the chemical industry.
At the conclusion of the event, the winners were awarded valuable prizes.
