The presentation of the documentary "Hero Mukhtar Gasimli" dedicated to the memory of Mukhtar Gasimli, a martyr of the Patriotic War, was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee. The management of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, parents of the martyr Almaz Gasimova and Ali Gasimov, veteran of the 44-day Patriotic War Rafig Rahimov, the department head of Surakhani District Executive Authority Elmar Huseynov, deputy chairman of Surakhani District of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) Salman Abdulov, as well as employees and students of the Academy participated in the event.

At the opening of the event, the dear memory of our heroes, who rose to the peak of martyrdom who sacrificed their lives to ensure our territorial integrity, was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed. 

The father of hero-martyr, Ali Gasimov, who is also the producer of the documentary, and the mother, Almaz Gasimova, also the artistic director of the documentary "Hero Mukhtar Gasimli" delivered speeches at the event and shared insights about their children's heroism, love for their motherland, and bravery in battle. Speaking about the screening of the film, the parents emphasized that, like all our martyrs who died for the independence and territorial integrity of our country, Mukhtar's life path is also inspiring example for our youth.

The head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, the Major General of the Customs Service, Gulu Novruzov, delivered a speech and noted that the heroic story of Mukhtar Gasimli is not only a personal struggle, but also a symbol of the struggle of the entire nation for the sake of the motherland. G. Novruzov stated that such projects are important in strengthening the spirit of unity and solidarity in the society and spoke about the significant impact of the film on community and its role in the upbringing of the new generation. 

Other speakers at the event also spoke about the importance of the film and they stressed that the values of freedom and independence, which we inherited from our martyrs, will strengthen the sense of heroism among our youth and will play an invaluable role in protecting our national identity.  

Following the speeches, the documentary film "Hero Mukhtar Gasimli" was presented. This documentary covers the life and journey of Mukhtar Gasimli, the Azerbaijani fitness champion, senior lieutenant in the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, and a martyr of the Second Karabakh War. The film highlights his childhood, school years, achievements in sport, and his career, weaving these elements into the narrative of his battle path.
