A masterclass was held on "Climate change and corporate social responsibility"
Department of Customs Affairs and Management at the Academy of the State Customs Committee organized a masterclass on "Climate change and corporate social responsibility" for students of "Economy" and "International trade and logistics" specialties.
The head of the department Elvin Alirzayev made an introductory speech and spoke about the importance of the 26th Meeting of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, and he noted that more than 3 trillion dollars are needed annually to prevent climate disasters by 2050.
The speakers Mammad Talibli and Hasan Rahimli, the teachers of the Academy explained the climate change and policies against it to the students and presented practical examples. Right-wing and left-wing views on climate change were compared, the risks were analyzed, and the difficulties of the transition to green energy were discussed.
In the end, the students' questions were answered.
