The presentation of the book titled “History of the Patriotic War: Restoring the Territorial Integrity of Azerbaijan – the Factor of Personality” which is a joint project of the Baku City Executive Power and the Institute of History and Ethnology named after A.A. Bakikhanov of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) was held at the Academy the State Customs Committee., The leadership of the Academy, representatives of the Sabunchu District Executive Power, the Baku City Executive Power, the Sabunchu District Organization of NAP, the Baku Youth Center, the Sabunchu Youth House, the Sabunchu District Organization of the Republican Council of Elders, Sabunchu District Secondary School No. 192, parents of the martyr of the Patriotic War Saleh Aliyev, veterans, as well as history teachers from schools No. 310, 170, and  72, as well as academy employees and students participated at the event. 

The event began with a minute of silence in memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and the National Anthem was performed.

In his opening speech, the head of the Academy, Customs Service Major General Gulu Novruzov emphasized the significance of the event, which coincided with the birthday of Mr. President, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and highlighted that the presented book is of great importance both from a historical and cultural point of view. G. Novruzov noted that the personality and leadership of President Ilham Aliyev played a crucial role in both military victory and strengthening of the country's international position and ensuring internal stability. 

Then, a video about the book was presented.

Elmin Imanov, head of the department of the Baku City Executive Power, spoke and noted the special role of the head of the project and the author of the foreword of the book, Eldar Azizov, the head of the Baku City Executive Power, in creating the book and presenting it to a wide audience of readers. He remarked that President Ilham Aliyev's extensive statecraft experience and strong leadership skills were the source of inspiration for the creation of this book. 

The deputy head of the Sabunchu District Executive Power, Rana Valiyeva, expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the writing of the book and emphasized the invaluable role of President Ilham Aliyev in restoring the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. She confidently stated that the book would be an important lesson and source of inspiration, not only for those interested in history but also for the youth. 

Then, at the event, the director of Sabunchu Youth House Kamil Yagubov, director of secondary school No. 192 Javad Mustafayev, history teacher Ragif Mammadov, and other event participants spoke about the historical significance of the newly published book and they emphasized its importance in properly conveying the truths of the war and the achievements to future generations.
