The 27th Republican Scientific Conference for Doctoral Students and Young Researchers (NASCO XXVII), dedicated to the Year of Solidarity for a Green World, was held at Sumgayit State University (SSU). The event was organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, and Sumgayit State University. Among the official attendees was Jamila Namazova, Deputy Chair of the Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (ASCCA).

The main objective of the conference was to encourage discussions among doctoral students and young researchers regarding their scientific research findings, allowing for interaction with established scientists in the country. It aimed to foster a creative environment for scientific research. 

In his opening speech, Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, the rector of Sumgayit State University, welcomed the guests and participants, expressing his appreciation for hosting the 27th Republican Scientific Conference at SSU and discussing the university's innovations and projects. 

Following this, Minister of Science and Education Mr. Emin Amrullayev highlighted the significant opportunities the conference provides for young scientists and discussed the successful initiatives undertaken to advance science and education. 

After the plenary session, the conference continued with separate working sections.
