ASCCA Employee Presents at International Conference on Customs System Development
An international conference titled "New Challenges, Priority Areas, and Trends in the Development of the Customs System: A Global Perspective" was organized by the Customs Institute of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The hybrid-format conference featured presentations by researchers from customs authorities and universities from various countries, who delivered their reports in Russian and Uzbek.
During the opening plenary session, Elvin Alirzayev, PhD in Economics and Head of the Department of "Customs Studies and Management" at the Academy of the State Customs Committee, presented a report titled "Increasing Productivity, Supply Chain Efficiency, and Sustainability in Pipeline Coating Enterprises in the Oil and Gas Industry," co-authored with faculty member Aliaga Pirguliyev. Alirzayev welcomed the conference participants on behalf of the Academy's leadership and discussed key issues and solutions faced by enterprises in the Caspian region regarding their production processes.
Following the presentations, discussions were held on the topics presented. During interactive sessions, speakers provided detailed answers to participants' questions, and certificates were awarded to all attendees.
