ASCCA student Wins First Place at VII Robot Olympiad

Mirmahamməd Mansimov, a second-year student majoring in Information Technologies at the Academy of the State Customs Committee, won a gold medal at the final stage of the VII Republican Robot Olympiad held in Baku.

The competition, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the World Robot Olympiad Association, and the Azerbaijan Robotics Engineering Academy (AREA), featured a total of 165 teams. In the 'Future Innovators Senior' category, Mirmahamməd was part of a team that presented the 'RegenTire' project, designed for hybrid and electric vehicles, and secured first place.

In recognition of this achievement, the ASCCA head, Customs Service Major-General Gulu Novruzov, met with the winning student to congratulate him and wish him continued success.

It’s worth noting that the winning teams of the VII Robot Olympiad will represent our country at the World Robot Olympiad, taking place in Izmir, Turkey, from November 28 to 30.

We are proud of our student and wish him further success!
