Employees of the Customs Academy participated in the meeting held at the Supreme Court

In the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a meeting was held with professors and teachers of law faculties from various higher education institutions operating in our country within the framework of the "Femida Dialogue Platform". Hakim Azizov, the head of the "Law and Humanitarian Sciences" department of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, and Yavar Mammadova, the senior specialist of the Additional Education Department, participated in the meeting with teachers of other higher education institutions.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court and Judicial-Legal Council, Inam Karimov welcomed the guests and provided detailed information about the "Femida Dialogue Platform". He explained that the project aims to facilitate active discussions with lawyers, human rights defenders, and civil society institutions, to solve emerging problems, and support reforms in the judicial and legal field in the country.

It was also emphasized that, in addition to teaching legal science for sustainable development, improving scientific research and publishing law-related articles in this field by higher education institutions is crucial.

Along with the deans and academic staff of law faculties from other higher education institutions participating in the meeting the employees of the Academy, Hakim Azizov and Yavar Mammadova, expressed their appreciation for the meeting held within the framework of the platform, shared their suggestions, and highlighted that close cooperation with the law faculties of the Supreme Court will make an significantly contribute to the development of legal science and the training of professional legal personnel in our country.
