In the Academy of the State Customs Committee, a tree-planting action was held with the participation of the management, employees, and students of the Academy within the framework of " Green World Solidarity Year".

Within the framework of the action, pine, eucalyptus, and cypress trees were planted in the surrounding areas of the Academy, as well as on both sides of the Zabrat-Mashtagha highway thyat runs in front of the Academy, and landscaping and cleaning works were carried out. The participants of community cleaning watered the newly planted trees and provided them with agrotechnical care.

It should be noted that this year, the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - COP29 will be hosted in Azerbaijan and the declaration of 2024 as the "Green World Solidarity Year " indicates that it will be a pivotal year for our country. Taking this into account, the purpose of the action is to contribute to the improvement of the ecological situation by greening and protection of the environment.
