The opening ceremony of the " Anti-corruption Law Academy " project  was held with  the organization of "The European Law Students Association-Baku" Public Union (ELSA Azerbaijan), financial support of the Youth Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan and partnership with the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.  The event was held in in the administrative building of the Chief Anti-Corruption Office under the Prosecutor General.

The authorized representatives of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Youth Fund, teachers and students of Law faculties of higher educational institutions, as well as employees of the prosecutor's office participated in the event. Academy of the State Customs Committee was represented by the  students of the Faculty of Law , Madina Hasanova and Sadiq Bandiyev.

The main goal of the three-day project was to educate young people about the work done in our country in the field of combating corruption and crimes against the interest of service, legalization of property obtained through crime and other related offenses, and encouraging  the participation of the young generation in the process of implementing the countermeasures.  

Making opening speeches, Sabuhi Aliyev, the head of the Preventive Measures and Investigations Department of the Chief Anti-Corruption Office under the Prosecutor General and Gadir Khalilov,  acting Executive director of the Youth Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan spoke about the importance of carrying out educational work in the field of fighting corruption, and they emphasized the role of  ELSA Azerbaijan in supporting many projects.

On the first day of the project, Bayram Orujov, Secretary General of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rashad Ibadov, Dean of the Faculty of Law of ADA University, Asmar Aliyeva, Head of the Department of Civil Procedure and Commercial Law of Baku State University, Narmina Huseynzade, President of ELSA Azerbaijan, and Nazim Chalabiyev, Treasurer of ELSA Azerbaijan made speeches.
