ASCCA represents in scientific-practical conference in ADA university
ADA University hosted a scientific and practical conference seminar on “International arbitration in a globalized world: challenges to fundamental concepts and prospects”. The event was organized jointly by the ADA University School of Law and the Center for Transnational Litigation, Arbitration, and Commercial Law at New York University Law School.
Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan Republic was represented by Hakim Azizov, head of the "Law and Humanities" department, Yavar Mammadova, senior specialist of the Additional Professional Education Department, and students of the Academy.
Vice-Rector and director of Institute for Development and Diplomacy of ADA University Fariz Ismayilzada made an opening speech.
The professors from New York University, Paris Oriental University and ADA University, as well as leading lawyers working in their respective fields in international and local law firms made speeches.
It is to be noted that in the conference consisting of four sessions, scientific discussions were held on the topics of "Independence of parties in arbitration", "Efficiency - time and cost issues", "Uniform regime of the New York Convention in force" and "Future prospects of arbitration".
