Defense of project work has started at the Customs Academy
In the Academy of the State Customs Committee, the internship report / defense of project works for IV year students has commenced. In the academic year 2023/2024, students specializing in the "International trade and logistics" major at the bachelor's level presented their assigned projects related to customs activity during their internship.
The Chairman of the Project Defense Commission for "International trade and logistics" specialization, Head of the Department of Customs and Administration of the Academy, Doctor of Philosophy in Economics, Elvin Alirzayev, along with the members of the Commission including Samir Ahadov, deputy head of the Head Division of the State Customs Organization, Division head director Fuad Mammadov, Department head Aliakbar Heydarov, Academy teacher, Doctor of Political sciences, prof. Jumshud Nuriyev and the candidates of the Academy participated in the defense.
The Head of the Academy, Major General of the Customs Service, Gulu Novruzov, delivered the opening speech at the defense, welcoming the commission staff and providing information about the defense process and wished success to the work of the Commission.
The chairman and members of the commission also spoke and conveyed their good wishes to the students participating in the defense.
Then, the students presented their research and analysis on various fields according to the topics of the project and answered the commission's questions.
It should be noted that, in the 2023/2024 academic year, students completing their studies at the bachelor's level at the Academy of the State Customs Committee will have the opportunity to undertake project work in the fields of "Jurisprudence", "Economics", "International Trade and Logistics", and "Information Security". At the master's level, there will be the option to pursue "International Economic Law". Additionally, master's students specializing in "Customs work" will have the opportunity to defend their dissertations.
