ASCCA holds “Graduation Ceremony ”

The Academy of the State Customs Committee held the "Graduation Ceremony" for the 2023/2024 academic year.

The event began with a minute of silence to honor the memory of the martyrs ,who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the National Anthem of Azerbaijan was sounded . 

Making a speech, the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Lieutenant General of the Customs Service Shahin Baghirov spoke about the state care for the field of science and education in our country. He talked about the training of highly qualified personnel that meets the requirements of the modern era and the opportunities created for students at the Academy, which began operating in 2014.  He stated that the strategic goals defined by the architect of independent Azerbaijan, the National Leader Heydar Aliyev,  for the purpose of establishing and developing the customs system, the deliberate and purposeful policy implemented by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev in this direction created conditions for the formation of  customs authorities  as one of the important state institutions which play an important role in protecting the national and economic security of our country. In the end, he expressed his gratitude to the professors and teachers of the Academy, parents of the graduates, all the mothers of the martyrs who brought up  patriotic children, and wished all the graduates success in their future activities.

The head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee , Gulu Novruzov, and the chairman of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Anar Baghirov delivered speeches about the comprehensive state care given to education in the country and described created conditions at the academy  and achieved results as a consequence of it and wished the graduates success in their future activities.

Speaking at the event, Maleyka Majidova, the mother of martyr major Elchin Mansurov, hero of the Patriotic War, congratulated the graduates and expressed her gratitude to the staff of the Academy, which always stands by the families of veterans and martyrs.

Later, teachers, parents and graduates made speeches by emphasizing the fact that the Customs Academy makes important contributions to the education system of the country by educating future specialists with comprehensive knowledge based on modern educational methods.

 Following the speeches, graduation certificates were presented to the graduate  students. Academic Excellence Award was conferred to the graduates whose academic performance demonstrates remarkable consistency at the highest level of achievement.  

It is worth noting that , ASCCA has 146 bachelor's degree graduates and 9 master’s level graduates for the 2023/2024 academic year.

In the end, the musical composition prepared by the graduates was shown.
