The Graduation project defense of the fourth year students is being held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee. In the 2023/2024 academic year, the students of the "Jurisprudence " major, who completed their studies at the bachelor's level, defended the graduation thesis  related to customs activity.

Hakim Azizov, head of the Department of Law and Humanities of the Academy ,  head of the Defense Commission for the "Jurisprudence" specialty, members of the Commission – department heads of the State Customs Committee, Ulvi Zulfugarov, Vugar Askerov, head of the department Elmir Shirinov, committee employees Mehriban Asgarova, Turane Ayyublu, Elnur Gahramanov , the head of Baku City Attorney's Office No. 20 Ilhama Hasanova, BSU professor Midhad Gafarov and associate professors Elnara Mirzayeva, Habib Jafarov, as well as the employees of the acdemy participated in the defense.

The Head of the Academy, Major General of the Customs Service, Gulu Novruzov, who delivered the opening speech , welcomed the commission staff and informed about the defense process and wished success to the work of the commission. The chairman and members of the commission spoke and conveyed their good wishes to the students participating in the defense.

Later,  according to the topics of the project, the students made presentations containing research and analyzes in various fields and answered the commission's questions.

It should be noted that in the academic year 2023/2024, those who completed their undergraduate studies at the Academy of the State Customs Committee in the specialties  "Jurisprudence", "Economics", "International trade and logistics", "Information security", and  the defense of graduation projects of the Master’s  students majoring in  "International Economic Law" and "Customs work" will be held.
