ASCCA hosts information security training
The Association of Cyber Security Organizations of Azerbaijan (ACOA) recently organized a training session on information security at the Academy of the State Customs Committee. The event marked the presentation of the project "Preparation of scientific-methodical teaching materials (print and online) for the specialty of information security," which was implemented by ACOA with the financial support of the Ministry of Science and Education.
In his opening speech, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACOA, Elvin Balajanov, emphasized the significant increase in demand for personnel in the field of cybersecurity and discussed the measures taken by the Association to strengthen the country's technical and personnel potential in this field. Speakers also discussed the state policy on information security in Azerbaijan, as well as the legal framework for fighting cybercrime. Educational materials were prepared on three subjects: information security and legal aspects of cybersecurity, web security, and network security.
Later, Rashad Aliyev, the head of "YER.AZ" company, gave a detailed presentation on web security, network security, cybercrimes, and the measures taken to ensure cybersecurity.
The interactive event concluded with a Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to ask questions about the topics discussed.
