A seminar on "Think like an economist" dedicated to "Science Day" was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee.

Making an opening speech, the head of the Department of Customs Affairs and Management of the Academy, Ph.D in Economics, Elvin Alirzayev gave information about the relevance, essence  of the topic and the issues to be discussed. In his speech, he also spoke about the transformation of economic science in modern times, changing consumer behavior, the environment created by new economic trends such as electronic commerce, cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence in the development of this science.

Mammad Talibli, the teacher of the Academy made a speech and informed about the exceptional role of science in the progress of society, and compared the value given to science by countries. The speaker talked about the work done in the direction of increasing and promoting the efficiency of scientific activity in Azerbaijan and the world.   

In his report, Hasan Rahimli, the teacher of the Academy, spoke about the importance of research and development costs in the formation of the knowledge economy, and drew attention to the fact that the level of development of countries is related to that.
