Turkish Standards Institution conducts audit in ASCCA
The Turkish Standards Institution has conducted a thorough audit of ASCCA's implementation of the "Quality Management System" standard, in compliance with TS EN ISO 9001:2015. The audit was led by Arzu Gulhan Yuzereroglu, Head of the Azerbaijan Representative Office of the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), and Khatira Salahova, Chief Auditor of the Representative Office, while Meltem Chubuk, the Representative of the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TURKAK), supervised the audit.
Prior to the audit, a meeting was held with guests with the participation of Academy management and staff.
During the audit conducted at the Academy, Customs Service major-general Gulu Novruzov welcomed the guests and spoke about the importance of the audit. He gave a general overview of the work done in the Academy regarding the implementation of relevant standards. The meeting also discussed the primary stages of the audit that would continue in the structural units of the Academy throughout the day.
Then the auditors reviewed the documents pertaining to the relevant standard, and got acquainted with the work process of the structural units. They made several suggestions to further implement improvements in specific areas.
In conclusion, a final session was held on the audit. During the meeting, Arzu Gulhan Yuzereroglu, Khatira Salahova, and Meltem Chubuk spoke highly of the work done in ASCCA regarding the "Quality Management System" standard. They shared their suggestions on certain issues and expressed gratitude to the Academy management for the circumstances provided for the audit.
It should be noted that the TSE had conducted audits in all structures of the Academy and awarded several international certificates. These include TS EN ISO 9001:2015 for the "Quality Management System", TS EN ISO 45001:2018 for the "Occupational health and safety," as well as TS ISO 10002:2018 for the "Customer satisfaction management system" standards.
