ASCCA marks 12th anniversary
The Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) recently celebrated its 12th anniversary, having been established on January 24, 2012, through Order No. 1972 signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. ASCCA is a state higher education institution that offers higher and additional education programs, as well as conducts fundamental and applied scientific research.
ASCCA places a strong emphasis on training highly qualified personnel with modern knowledge and educating citizens who are loyal to statehood and national values. The Academy offers five bachelor's level programs in Law, Economics, International Trade and Logistics (Azerbaijani and English streams), Information Security, and Information Technologies (English), as well as master's degree programs in Customs Work and International Economic Law. Admissions to the Law and International Trade and Logistics specializations are also open for Second (repeated) higher education.
ASCCA also provides in-service training for customs workers to support them in enhancing their subject knowledge and improving the skills and competencies required for their proficiency.
The Academy has consistently maintained high student enrollment indicators throughout the years.
It is noteworthy that the Academy incorporates various online courses, certificate programs offered by the World Customs Organization (WCO), electronic learning (e-learning) modules, and other relevant online resources to develop innovative and effective in-service training sessions.
We extend our sincere congratulations to all the staff and students on the 12th anniversary of the Academy. We believe that our success in the development of the national and global scientific and educational environment will continue, and we remain committed to our mission of providing quality education and training highly qualified professionals.
