The Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) organized the III international video conference on "Civil defense in modern conditions: problems and prospects" dedicated to World Civil Defense Day.

Representatives from higher education institutions from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Kazakhstan also attended the conference. The Academy of the State Customs Committee was represented by Jamila Namazova, the deputy head of the Academy of State Customs Committee for Scientific Affairs, and Rahim Babayev, the head of the Department of Maintenance and Technical Services.

The main objective of the seminar was to develop international cooperation between relevant civil defense institutions and to improve their mutual activity.

During the conference, the speakers emphasized the crucial role of civil defense in ensuring the protection of the population. They also highlighted that such measures contribute to the expansion of cooperation and further development of relations. Rahim Babayev, the head of the Department of Maintenance and Technical Services, delivered a speech on "Improving Effective Protection Methods for People and Territories".

At the end of the event, certificates were presented to the seminar participants.
