The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the State Customs Committee. The agenda of the meeting included the approval of dissertation topics and academic supervisors of first-year master's degree level students, the results of the fall semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, and the results of intra-semester exams, preparation for the winter exam session and other current issues.

The Head of the Academy, Chairman of the Scientific Council, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov welcomed the participants and informed the council members about the issues included into the agenda of the meeting.

At the meeting, the Academy's deputy head for scientific affairs, Jamila Namazova, presented an annual report on the approval of dissertation topics and scientific supervisors of first-year master's degree level students, and the Academy's scientific activity.

Then, the head of the monitoring and assessment department, Abilkhan Isayev, made a speech about the results of intra-semester exams of the fall semester and preparation for the winter exam session, and brought the final indicators to the attention of the meeting participants.

The meeting continued with the report of Islam Huseynov, the head of the department for organization of educational-methodical work, about the work done in the fall semester of the current academic year and the organization of teaching.

After the presented speeches, the opinions of the members of the Scientific Council and the heads of the related structures were heard about the issues on the agenda.

In the end, the decisions were made regarding the discussed issues, and the relevant tasks were assigned to the heads of the structures.
