Enlightening seminars on the right to vote were held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) for students who will vote for the first time in the extraordinary Presidential elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan scheduled for February 7, 2024.

The main purpose of these seminars is to educate about the electoral system, the rights and duties of the voter, as well as to increase the level of awareness and voter activity of the students who will participate as voters for the first time in the upcoming elections.

During the meetings, Rafiq Abbasov, the head of the Legal Department of the CEC Secretariat, and Ilham Mammadov, a member of the CEC, explained to the young people the voting procedure, the necessary legal issues they should know before the election day and during the elections, and the questions interested the students were answered in details.
