Debate held with the participation of ASCCA
A debate was held between the students of the Academy of the State Customs Committee and the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dedicated to the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis on the topic "Psychological violence can be allowed during the interrogation of a person accused of committing war crimes."
At the event organized by the Department of Criminalistics of the Police Academy and the Academy of the State Customs Committee, the national leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan were first commemorated with a minute of silence and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.
Speaking at the event aimed at developing cooperation between two special purpose higher education institutions in the field of education and research, the first deputy head of the Police Academy, police colonel Vugar Mansurov declared the debate open, greeted the guests and made a speech about the life and activities of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Later, the teacher of the Department of Criminalistics, police captain Ismayil Amirli and senior specialist of the Additional Education Department of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, Yavar Mammadova, delivered speeches and noted that the Day of Solidarity embodies the feelings of national unity and loyalty to the Motherland. They also hailed the importance of the competition held in order to get students to develop their rational discussion as well as critical and creative thinking skills.
Sophomore ASCCA students Rashad Zeynalov, Nilufar Mammadli and Aydan Ismayilova debated in the negative position, junior students of the Police Academy, Gafar Badalov, Erol Isayev and Ramin Mammadov were in the affirmative position. Based on the result of mutual argument and question-and-answer, in the end, the judges announced both teams as winners.
