The closing ceremony of the "CS50x Azerbaijan DGKA" project was held

The closing ceremony of the "CS50x Azerbaijan DGKA" project, co-organized by the State Customs Committee Academy, the Technest Scholarship Program of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency and the ‘Coders Azerbaijan’ has been held.

In the event, ASCCA students presented teamwork projects that had been developed during the training.

Speaking at the event, the head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, the major general of the customs service, Gulu Novruzov, talked about the importance of such projects organized for the purpose of training educated personnel in the field of IT.  In his speech, he also highlighted the development of productive cooperation relations established with the Academy's partner "Coders Azerbaijan" and thanked everyone who contributed to the organization of the project.

Speaking at the event, Seymur Hamidov, co-founder and member of the board of directors of Coders Azerbaijan, gave information about the project aimed at supporting passionate students in programming and helping them learn the fundamental knowledge and expressed his gratitude to all contributors to the project for their efforts in the successful implementation of the project.

Later, guests who participated in the presentation made a vote. According to the results of the voting, ‘The Goal Diggers’ won.

In the end, the winning team has been awarded a cash prize and certificates and gifts have been presented to participants and project volunteers.

It is noteworthy that ‘CS50x’ is an interactive curriculum that shapes the logic of algorithmic thinking established by David J. Malan, a professor at Harvard University. The program was launched in May 2023 by Coders Azerbaijan for ASCCA students.
