ASCCA holds a meeting on advocacy for students

A meeting was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee with Pasha Safarov, a member of the Disciplinary Commission of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the chairman of the Legal Assurance and Human Rights Committee under the Mediation Council. Pasha Safarov also heads the Baku City Law Office No. 26 and Baku Mediation Organization No. 3.

Speaking at the event, Yavar Mammadova, senior specialist of the Academy's Additional Education Department, briefed participants on the fruitful cooperation between the Academy and the Bar Association, introduced the newly created Academy of the Bar Association to them.

Later, the scientific secretary of the Academy of the Bar Association, the teacher of the UNESCO chair on "Human rights and information law" of the Faculty of Law of Baku State University, Malakkhanim Rahimova delivered speech about the activities of the Bar Association and its Academy. She also emphasized the importance of promoting students' interest in the legal profession and involvement of young lawyers in this field.

Speaking at the event, lawyer Pasha Safarov gave detailed information about the history of the legal profession, the activity of lawyers in courts, the establishment of defense tactics, the role of psychology in the activity of a lawyer, and gave his recommendations to the students.

At the end, the students' questions were answered.
