The 2nd Republican scientific conference dedicated to the 3rd anniversary of "Victory Day" on "Military and political lessons of the Second Karabakh War: achievements and future tasks " was held at the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev.         

One of the  speakers at the conference, the head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, the Major General of the customs service, Gulu Novruzov, spoke about the great victory won under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief,  President Ilham Aliyev in the 44-day Patriotic War. He drew attention to the growing economic power and political influence of Azerbaijan, the heroism of the Azerbaijani Army and its soldiers. Novruzov emphasized that the logical result of the state and army building, which was founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, was manifested in the Patriotic War.

The head of the academy also noted the importance of passing on a history full of victories to future generations.
