Customs Academy is represented at the seminar held in Spain within the framework of the ECAR project
The Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) was represented in the next training program held in Madrid, Spain within the framework of Erasmus+ project "Establishment of the Rectors' Conference in Azerbaijan" (ECAR), the partner of the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA).
Along with Tamam Jafarova, the Member of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Science and Education Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Nijat Mammadli, the Advisor to the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Turkhan Suleyman, the Head of the "Science sector" of the "Science, Higher and Secondary Education Department" of the Ministry, the rectors, vice-rectors and other authorities from different higher educational institutions that are members of the project consortium, Azer Seyidov, the chairman of the Secretariat of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, also participates in the training trip.
The main purpose of the visit, which covers the dates of July 10-14, is to study the experience the main purpose of the visit is to study the experience of the Spanish Rectors' Conference on student and graduate affairs, Spanish higher educational institutions, as well as partners from France, Poland and Lithuania.
Maria Teresa, Secretary General of the Spanish Rectors' Conference, spoke on the first day of the training-seminars held at Charles III University. She welcomed the delegation of Azerbaijan and noted that they are happy to see them in Spain.
Then, Nijat Mammadli, the Advisor to the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan greeted the Spanish colleagues on behalf of the representatives and expressed his satisfaction with the close cooperation.
After the performances of speech, the presentation on the establishment of the Conference, the place and role of the Conference in the Spanish higher education system, its structure, activities, and relevant committees was demonstrated, and also was spoken about the importance of a new strategic view on work with students in Spanish universities, as well as the importance of intersectoral relations and coordination.
At the end, a question-and-answer session was held, and the useful exchange of ideas was conducted with foreign experts.
It should be noted that, the ECAR project, which related to the "Capacity building in Higher Education" activity category of the "Erasmus+" program of the European Union, is implemented under the coordination of Baku Business University and with the financial support of the European Commission. The duration of the project is three years. The participation of Academy in the project began in April 2022, after the partnership of the Customs Academy was evaluated and accepted by the project consortium and the European Commission in 2021.
