On September 6, was held the meeting between the Academy of the State Customs Committee and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, Gulu Novruzov, the employees of the Academy, the acting chairman of the board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Inara Valiyeva, and the representatives of the agency attended the meeting.

The head of the academy, Customs Service Major-General Gulu Novruzov greeted the guests and expressed his pleasure to see them in the higher educational institution. Gulu Novruzov talked about the teaching process of the Academy and noted that the personnel training is carried out in 3 specialty programs in the field of IT, including the English-speaking gtoups. Gulu Novruzov stated that in the current academic year the Academy will conduct the first graduation in the major of Information security and he emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation with partners specialized in this major in order to improve the quality of the process of professional personnel training in the field of IT. Speaking about the future prospects of the cooperation between the Academy and the Agency, Novruzov also  touched on the issues of organizing internship programs and involving academically qualified IT specialists in the teaching activities of the Academy.

Then, at the event the presentation on the aActivities of the Academy, achievements and priorities in the field of international cooperation, the relations with foreign higher educational institutions and customs training structures, and projects was demonstrated.

Expressing her satisfaction to be in the Academy of the State Customs Committee, Inara Valiyeva, Acting Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, gave information about the activity of the institution she represented and emphasized the possibility of exchanging experience in various directions in the field of IT and organizing joint projects.

During the meeting, a wide range of ideas were exchanged on the current personnel potential in the field of information technologies.

Then, the guests got acquainted with the conditions created for the students of the Academy and customs service employees participating in advanced training courses, as well as еhe newly established language lab, class rooms and lecture halls equipped with modern tools of technical control.
