ASCCA students took part in the chess competition in the framework of the “FunniFy” program dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the birthday of outstanding scientist- ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, held with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Narimanov District Department of Youth and Sports, organized by the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations’ Union and Student Youth Organization of Baku Eurasian University.

In the competition held with the participation of 100 students from 25 higher and secondary educational institutions, Mushfiq Nagiyev, the fourth-year ASCCA student majoring in "Information Security" won third place. 

ASCCA students Ilgar Abbasov, a fourth-year student majoring in "Information Security" and Mahammad Shekarov, a third-year student majoring in "Economy" finished the competition in the Top 10.

Later, students were awarded gifts, medals and cups.
