“GMP Lab” Cyber security application lab launched at ASCCA

A cyber security application laboratory, "GMP Lab" was established in the Academy of State Customs Committee within the framework of cooperation with "Gais", "Malwation" and "PEYK" Cyber ​​Security Technologies companies.
 The opening ceremony of the laboratory and the signing of Memorandums of Understanding with all three companies were held at the Academy.
 
 The head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, Major-General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov, the head of the Department of Technological Innovations and Statistics of State Customs Committee, Colonel of Customs Service Fuad Aslanov, the chief Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Turkiye in Azerbaijan Ahmet Erdal, the Counselor of Internal Affairs of the embassy Ilhan Şen, Counselor of the Trade Consultancy, Yakup Sefer, executive director of "Gais" Cybersecurity Technologies Company, Osman Dogan, executive director of "Malwation" Company Kagan Ishildak,, executive director of "PEYK" Company, Can Umay, general manager of "Karmasis Azerbaijan "Berna Baysal, deputy head of the Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, of the Republic of Azerbaijan Samir Rasulov , as well as, the representatives of  state and private higher education institutions, including the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan,and the employees of the academy attended the event.
 
 Welcoming the guests, the head of the Academy, Gulu Novruzov, spoke about the sincere friendship and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye and noted the importance of cooperation in the field of education. Novruzov expressed his satisfaction with the effective cooperation established between the Academy and the leading cyber security companies of Turkiye in the implementation of personnel training in Information Technologies. He informed about the newly established cyber security application laboratory and expressed his gratitude to everyone for their contributions to the organization of the laboratory.
 Later, a presentation on the activities of the Academy was shown.
 
 The chief  commercial counselor of the Embassy of Turkiye in Azerbaijan, Ahmet Erdal and other counselors Ilhan Sen, Yakup Sefer emphasized the importance of developing the cooperation between Turkiye and Azerbaijan in all fields and highly appreciated the activity of the Academy in the direction of training highly qualified staff in Information Technologies.
 
 Making a speech, the head of the Department of Technological Innovations and Statistics of State Customs Committee, Colonel of Customs Service Fuad Aslanov spoke about the importance of training specialists in IT in the efficient organization of the activities of customs bodies. Speaking about the importance of the laboratory established in terms of the future development of students in this field, the head of the department expressed his gratitude to all three globally recognized companies of Turkiye in the field of cyber security for the support shown in the establishment of the laboratory.
 
   Later, the executive directors of "Gais", "Malwation" and "PEYK" companies Osman Dogan, Kagan Ishildak, Can Umay expressed their gratitude to the Academy management for their warm hospitality, and informed about the activities of the companies they represent and expressed their pride in the cooperation that will contribute to the Academy's activities.
 
  The guests also pointed out that there is a significant increase in the demand for specialists in cyber security nowadays, and appreciated the creation of this type of application laboratories in higher education institutions that provide personnel training in cyber security in our country.
 
Then, Memorandums of Understanding on joint cooperation were signed between the Customs Academy and the companies "Gais", "Malwation" and "PEYK".
 Following the official part of the event, the "GMP Lab" cyber security application laboratory was opened.
 
The participants of the event also met with the students attending  the cyber security summer school, which is conducted by local and foreign experts at the Academy.
 
It should be noted that the "GMP Lab" "cyber security application laboratory" established at the Academy of the State Customs Committee is for students with the specified content (VULPMP - Central pentest management, AIMA - Malware analysis system, MSP - Malware simulation platform and other cyber monitoring tools) "Gais Cyber Security", "Malwation" and "PEYK" cyber security products will allow to use and thus monitor critical systems. "Gais" cyber security company offers VULPMP software, "PEYK" company offers advanced tools for website monitoring, and "Malwation" company offers software such as AIMA, MSP and CDR, which are widely known in the country and around the world.
