ASCCA holds a seminar on the fight against corruption
A seminar on "Fight against corruption in the activities of customs bodies" has been held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee. The seminar was aimed at enlightening students of the ASCCA and was attended by the Academy staff and students. The seminar was delivered by Ayten Piraliyeva, the chief inspector of the Internal Security Department of the State Customs Committee.
Speaking at the event, the deputy head of the Academy, Jamila Namazova, talked about the importance of the event and noted the reforms carried out in the direction of the systematic fight against corruption in the country based on the priorities of the state policy implemented by Mr. President Ilham Aliyev. J. Namazova also emphasized that the efficiency of measures implemented in this direction in the State Customs Committee has also increased.
Being the main presenter of the event, Aytan Piraliyeva talked about the measures taken by the customs authorities in order to identify and eliminate situations that create conditions for corruption. In her speech, she also highlighted the fact that customs officers demonstrate strong political will in the fight against corruption, and pay attention to the code of conduct in relation to citizens in their service activities by guiding the principles of the rule of law and respect for human-civil rights and freedoms. Later, A. Piraliyeva provided extensive information about international standards and national practices in the fight against corruption, anti-corruption legislation and conventions.
