The ceremony of presenting state awards to a group of workers in the education sector was held on November 30. In the ceremony held by the Ministry of Science and Education, one of the awarded education workers, the head of the Educational and Methodological Work Organization Department of ASCCA Islam Huseynov was also presented the “Taraggi” medal (Medal of "Progress") by the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev.

On October 4, 2022, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed an Order on awarding the "Taraggi" medal to educational workers who distinguished themselves with special achievements in the field of subject Olympiads and student training. According to the decree, the employee of the Academy, Islam Huseynov, was awarded the "Taraggi" medal for his efficient services in the development of Azerbaijani education.
