Management, the employees and the students of the Customs Academy participated in the Memorial Day of a martyr of the Great Patriotic War.
The memorial day of Nasirov Afgan Ramil oghlu, a martyr of Zabrat settlement, Sabunchu district, one of those heroes who rose to the peak of martyrdom in the 44-day Patriotic War, was celebrated. On the occasion of the memorial day, the management, a group of employees and students of the Academy of the State Customs Committee visited the martyr's grave in Bakikhanov settlement of Sabunchu district, laid flowers in front of it, prayed for his soul, and commemorated his dear memory with deep respect.
The Head of the Academy, Major General of the Customs Service, Gulu Novruzov, who participated in the ceremony held on the occasion of the Memorial Day of the martyr on behalf of himself and the staff of the Academy expressed deep condolences to the family of the martyr, wished them patience, and he said that it is a pride for each of us to raise today our sacred flag on our lands which were liberated at the cost of the lives of our heroic sons under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham. Aliev. Gulu Novruzov noted that all the martyrs of the Motherland, who died for our territorial integrity, will always be remembered as heroes of the history of Azerbaijan.
The speakers at the event shared their memories of our martyr, talked about his heroism and his battle route.
At the ceremony, the students of the Academy recited poems dedicated to the heroes of the Motherland.
