On November 5, a scientific-practical event dedicated to the Victory Day was held by the Student Scientific Society of the Academy of the State Customs Committee. At the event, which was held with the participation of the employees and students of the Academy, the dear memory of our heroes who rose to the peak of martyrdom to ensure our territorial integrity was commemorated with a minute of silence and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.

The deputy head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, who gave an opening speech at the event, greeted the participants and congratulated them on this remarkable day. Underlining the importance of the event, Jamila Namazova talked about the great victory won under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief President Ilham Aliyev in the 44-day Patriotic War, the growing economic power and political influence of Azerbaijan, and the heroism of the Azerbaijani Army and its soldiers. The deputy head of the academy recommended the young people to study the glorious history of the Azerbaijani people more deeply and emphasized the importance of passing on history full of triumph to future generations.

Then, the students’, participating in the scientific-practical event, reports and presentations on such topics as "The road to victory", "Protection of state independence", "Foreign policy after the restoration of Azerbaijan's independence" and the "Historical role of Heydar Aliyev in  strengthening the independence of Azerbaijan", etc. were demonstrated.
